Hot Shrimp (or Crab) Dip

  • 2  - 8 oz bars cream cheese (tempered and cubed)
  • ½ stick of butter
  • ¼ cup Booyah BBQ Shrimp Seasoning
  • ½ lb. uncooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and diced)
  • 1 cup shredded or grated parmesan cheese

Heat skillet on low-medium heat.  Melt butter and saute shrimp until pink.  Reduce heat to low.  Add cream cheese and Booyah seasoning and fold in until creamy.  (Be careful not to overcook as cream cheese will break down and become grainy.)  Fold in parmesan cheese.  Pour into unbuttered baking dish (8 x8 or 9x9) and bake at 400 until bubbly.  About half way through baking, more parmesan can be added to the top if preferred.  Can also thin the mixture with half & half to pour over nachos.
